The Leaving Ball is a significant event in your life - one chapter is drawing to a close, and another is just opening. Why not remember the friends that have made your time at school, college or university special by commissioning Nova to produce a professional programme featuring your Leaving Ball - available on DVD.

How does it work?
We provide our production services free of charge to the event organisers. In return for producing a professional programme of the event, we ask that the event does not allow any other professional video cameras to record the proceedings (amateur video-makers are welcomed - more about this below). We will then offer the programme for sale only to guests of the event - and those who couldn't attend - recouping our costs from those sales.
What's on the finished DVD?
We'll film everyone arriving, mingling and enjoying themselves, as well as any speeches you may have, and some of the dancing (great for embarrassment in years to come!) The finished DVD normally lasts between 50-60 minutes in length
Special Features
In addition, if one of the guests is also filming with their digital camcorder, we can take their footage, and edit an additional special feature for the DVD.
We can also take photographs taken by digital cameras (supplied to us on CD-ROM or via the internet), and make a Photo Gallery for the DVD.

Why should we bother with Nova when some else can do it?
Of course, you could have an amateur video the event for you, but they won't have our specialised digital cameras and editing systems and, above all, our years of experience. Our finished DVDs are supplied in the same cases you'd expect from pre-recorded DVDs, and feature a specifically designed cover with photos from the Prom.

What about privacy?
We will only allow guests who attended the event - as well as those who could not attend - to order the DVD. Additionally, you can supply us with an approved list of people who can order your DVD. Any persons ordering who are not on this list would be referred to our Event Contact for approval.

How much do the DVD's cost?
We'll arrange with you the cost of the DVDs when you book us, as it depends on the size of event, but usually we they cost £15 each if they have no additional special features (as mentioned above) and £20 each if they have special features (to reflect the extra work involved).
