Somewhere in the loft is probably a box of old cine film containing memories of the children growing, school concerts, sports matches or a wedding.  The problem is that often, the projector needed to play these films has given up the ghost.  What do you do?

Nova can transfer 8mm, Super 8mm and 16mm film to DVD, miniDV or AVI computer files.  We use telecine adapted film projectors and three chip cameras in a closed film chain process.  All film is cleaned before processing.

With Nova telecined film, you get no flickering and the speed of the film is correct.  (Some companies have to speed up the film to get rid of flickering).

What if the film has sound?
If the film has sound, that will be transferred as well.  If there is no sound on the film, then the transfer will be silent.

Prices
Our prices depend on the amount of each different sized reels you have.  A standard Set-up charge of £15 is applicable for each different film format.  The prices in the table below are for the transfer only - you then need add the cost of putting them into the format of your choice - either DVD, mini DV tape or computer AVI files on DVD-ROM, and more details are on the next page.  Payments can now be made with a credit card.
