Research:
Telephone, fax or e-mail us with your "wish lists" for archive film.  Please remember our film archive is based predominately on high quality amateur cine film.  If professionally shot film is what you need, we probably can't help you unless it is listed in the "Complete Film" section.
When we have undertaken an initial search for you, we will contact you, either by telephone, fax or e-mail.  We'll tell you in as much detail as we can about the following…

• what we have available which matches exactly to your "wish list"
  
• what we have which we think you might be interested in
  
• how long approximately each of the segments are
  
• a rating of each segment with regards to technical quality and content
  

If we have a clip of a segment you have requested in our web server, we will send you the URL to download it.  This way, you can at least judge whether the content is what you are after.
There is no charge at this stage for the research.

Archive Viewing:

Once we have detailed what we have available, you will be able to have the footage you have selected copied onto DVD / VHS for viewing.

Our charges for DVD / VHS viewing copies are as follows…

£50 for the first 7 items, and then £5 for each item thereafter.

Ordering a Master Tape:
Once you have made your final choice of footage, we will transfer the extracts to your choice of master tape format.  In most cases, we will transfer whole segments, rather than individual shots.  This allows you more flexibility in the edit, as you can change your mind as commentary lines change.

Charging:
On ordering the master, we will invoice you our standard charge according to your proposed usage.  Please provide us with as much information as to territories and envisaged repeat performances as you can at this stage.
When you have completed your final edit, you will send us a copy on DVD / VHS with BITC and submit a declaration of where our material has been included.  We will then work out to the second how much of our material you have used, and either bill you for any additional use, or reimburse you if you have over paid in the standard charge.
